home sweet home

I just spent the last month at home. I just loved being with the family and helping out around the house. (dropping my phone in a can of paint was a highlight...) I realized how much I missed the city! It was great to be close to Seattle again. This is such a cliche, super "tourist-y" picture from a park up on Capitol Hill but it is one of the best views in town.

My beloved dog passed this month. He was a faithful friend... blessing our family with hours of entertainment and laughs! I've never seen an animal with more personality and attitude. He will be missed.

thai dye thursdays

Part of our girls night, a.k.a. "thai dye thursday," was a trip to Thai Ruby's for some amazing Thai cuisine!

We had a girls night one fine spring evening...making tie dye t's was a definite must.

a shower for the bride!

My roommate Raquel is getting married this month...so we threw her a little surprise bridal shower! It was oh so much fun...I thought I'd show a few of the decorations I put together for this little event!

Sleeping under the stars the first night was a definite highlight, despite the fact that our campsite was a patch of grass…NEXT…to the campgrounds! We blazed through Arches National Park, climbing over every rock, making friends with the lizards, and getting only slightly sunburned! (This being an understatement for me...)
